Kansas City – June Pop-Ups
Summer has rolled in and it is getting hot out there! Escape the heat and cool down with a themed cocktail at one of the pop-ups happening this month! There are a few favorites carrying over from May, but quite a few are new. You can even find yourself on a tropical vacation in many of these bar themes! Summertime is when some of my favorite Pop-up bars happen!
My fellow Bob’s Burger fans, you’re going to love this pop-up experience. This bar is going to be filled with all the fun details of our favorite funny little family. You can expect plenty of cocktails inspired by the show such as the “Bad Girl Tina-Rita”. Not only can you expect themed drinks, but also burgers…of course. You can finally try out some of Bob’s famous burgers of the day such as the “You Can Chive my Car” burger. Reservations are recommended, but walk-ins are definitely welcome.

It’s time to slow down and smell the flowers. You can do that while enjoying a delicious themed cocktail or mocktail at Misc. in North Kansas City! This garden themed pop-up is going to be the perfect spot for day drinking with the girls and grabbing some of the cutest photos. They also have a spacious patio where you can take your drink outside to sip in the nice weather. These drinks are filled with all our favorite bright colors and flavors. This pop-up was extended through the month of June. I definitely suggest the Patio Pounder Sangria!
Something strong is attacking Conductor Club this summer and it’s not just the drinks! This tiki pop-up bar is inspired by the popular Jaws movie. This is your tropical summer bar but with a twist. Grab a cocktail such as the Captain Quint or a tasty shark bite off the food menu. Conductor Club strongly encourages reservations, but will occasionally announce on their Instagram that they are taking walk-ins. This pop-up will run through the summer months!
Time to get all dolled up, at the very end of June, this Barbie-inspired bar opens! Barbie is the it girl this summer so this pop-up is coming at the perfect time. I already know where are going to see the perfect pink, sparkly, plastic decor of our dreams. These drinks are going to be totally picture worthy and delicious. You can expect to see the PinkColada, the Fashionista Fizz, and so much more. This will be a pop-up bar you’ll want to make a reservation for because I know people will be lining up for it. Doors open June 30th!
Enjoy a tropical evening getaway from right inside Tom Town’s basement! You can find a menu of delicious paradise inspired cocktails every Thursday – Saturday. Be sure to grab your reservation to experience the cool neon tiki atmosphere!
This Evil Dead inspired pop-up will only be available for a very limited time. This bar will run from June 9th – June 15th and is only open Thursdays-Saturdays. Groovy – Bar of the Dead will be hosted in the basement of 9th & State in the West Bottoms. So if you want to a chance to visit this pop-up make sure to make those reservations asap!
